What equipment does my child need to play roller hockey?

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT FOR ROLLER HOCKEY AT SLAPSHOTS
For Your Info: The required Hockey Equipment to play in our Roller Hockey League consists of the following: a HECC aproved Helmet with Cage, Mouthpiece, Elbow pads, Hockey Gloves,Shoulder Pads(or Hyper or Tour Chest Shirt), Hip Protector (optional for Development League Only), Shin Guards, Skates and a Hockey Stick. Suggested equipment, but not required, is a protective cup. We have Equipment Packages for sale in our Pro Shop. We specialize in the small size player equipment needs up to Adult. If we have never played hockey before, how do we get started?

Slapshots offers a "Learn to Play" Development League for Players 6&Under and also for Players 7&Up that is held on Weds. afternoon's from 5:30-7:00pm for 1 1/2 hours. This program will introduce your child to the fundamentals of roller hockey over a 6 week period with the ultimate goal of getting them prepared to move into the House League.
